German Speaking Junior Asset Accounting Analyst Intern - Diákmunka

• Assist in asset inventory management with guidance from the Team Leader, SME, or Senior Fixed Assets Accountant
• Handle asset divestments with and without revenue under supervision and based on business or country team requestsTransfer assets under construction to fixed assets during monthly, quarterly, and year-end closingsVerify and process adjusting entries and transfers for capital expenditures with appropriate guidanceScreen inferior assets and prepare transfer posting documents with support from the teamProcess depreciation and perform necessary sense checksEnsure all asset movements comply with BP policies, local GAAP, and IFRS under supervisionAdhere to "Component Accounting" standards with appropriate guidanceHandle purchase requisitions and account assignments for capital expenditures in line with GAAP and IFRS standardsComplete tasks in accordance with QMS requirementsProcess and maintain fixed asset master data accuratelyAddress queries and escalate issues when necessary, following standard operating proceduresPerform tasks within deadlines and according to team leader and business direction

• Ongoing studies and active Hungarian student status for at least 6 more months
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Finance/Accounting or any related field - already completed your first year at universityFluent English knowledge both written and verbalIntermediate German knowledge, both written and verbalWorking knowledge of MS Office applications(Excel, Word, etc.)Good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awarenessCustomer- and service-oriented thinkingReadiness for action and ability to work under pressureGood communication and cooperation
