Oversee and manage the daily operational activities of the Front Office department, ensuring compliance with luxury hotel quality and standards and consistently meeting guest expectations.
Define shared objectives, handle guest complaints, and supervise Front Office team members.
Support the management of the reception team, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and motivate others; act as a role model while fostering an open and cooperative working environment.
Maintain a constant focus on achieving maximum guest satisfaction and on the continuous development and improvement of the department.
Support human resources activities, including recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, trainings, motivating staff, and addressing performance or workplace issues.
Ensure effective information flow to management, colleagues, and subordinates; analyze data and actively participate in meetings.
Perform managerial duties such as preparing month-end statistics, management reports and summaries, staff schedules, and inventories; liaise with external partners; and supervise reservation and billing processes.
Actively participate in Front Office operations when required, lead shifts at the reception desk, and clearly communicate goals to achieve desired results.
Requirements
University degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management
5–10 years of relevant professional experience as a Front Office Manager or an Assistant Front Office Manager, preferably in a five-star luxury hotel environment.
Confident, active advanced-level proficiency in English.
Open-minded, solution-oriented, and proactive approach.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, inspire, and motivate people.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of empathy and a hands-on attitude.
Reliable, resilient, and flexible personality.
Demonstrates a strong desire for continuous learning, professional development, and embracing new challenges.
Knowledge of OPERA or a comparable Property Management System (PMS), as well as cash-handling experience, is an advantage.
Possesses strong intrinsic motivation to deliver exceptional service to guests.
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of an additional foreign language at a minimum intermediate level.
