Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Financial Manager Lead — a hybrid between a Financial Strategist and Integrity Officer — to lead the financial operations, control, and strategic growth of our expanding business.
This role demands an exceptional professional who combines deep financial expertise with operational awareness, analytical precision, and ethical integrity. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who builds clarity, drives efficiency, and ensures full transparency across the company’s financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Oversight & Legal Compliance
- Oversee all financial operations, ensuring strict alignment with Hungarian accounting and tax regulations.
- Manage full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and audit readiness.
- Proactively review and validate all transactions for legality, accuracy, and fairness.
- Ensure compliance with government, banking, and tax authorities.
2. Financial Control & Reporting
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Reports.
- Build and maintain analytical control reports — including gross profit, operational profit, and cash flow insights.
- Lead budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop forward-looking pro forma financial models for business growth and scenario planning.
3. Process Optimization & Systems Management
- Continuously improve financial and operational workflows, including purchase orders, invoicing, and collections.
- Implement and optimize digital tools and financial systems that ensure transparency and real-time monitoring.
- Build frameworks for automated reporting and data-driven decision-making.
4. Risk Management & Integrity Control
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks — including fraud, errors, and systemic inefficiencies.
- Maintain internal controls and governance procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Conduct periodic financial audits and compliance reviews.
5. Operational Leadership & Business Partnership
- Serve as a strategic partner to management by providing financial insight to guide decisions.
- Manage profit centers and ensure profitability across business lines.
- Lead interactions with banks, auditors, suppliers, and tax authorities.
- Supervise day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, purchase order management, and collections.
