Our international partner is looking for a new colleague to join their Budapest-based office as a Finance System Specialist (Alteryx). This role plays a key part in developing, automating, and maintaining finance reporting and analytics solutions that support global business decision-making.

About the Role
The Finance System Specialist is responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing finance and Accounts Receivable (AR) reporting solutions, primarily using Alteryx-based workflows. The goal of the role is to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful data to finance and business stakeholders across the organization.
This position requires close collaboration with international finance teams, business partners, and IT stakeholders, while actively contributing to the standardization and continuous improvement of reporting processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance finance and AR reports, analyses, and dashboards
- Automate reporting and data transformation processes using Alteryx
- Extract, clean, and structure large datasets from multiple source systems
- Analyze aged AR, unapplied cash, working capital, and other key financial metrics
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and management-level reports
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation of reporting processes
- Partner with global finance, accounting, and business teams
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and automation
- Participate in system, transformation, and automation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance reporting, analytics, or finance systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Background in Accounts Receivable or Order-to-Cash would be a plus
- Fluent English communication skills
- Participation in finance transformation or automation projects
- Structured, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
