Finance - Controlling Manager

• Partner with local and regional management to drive business success.
• Fully contribute to the development of corporate strategy in all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision making where appropriate.
• Lead the financial team, focusing on talent management and professional development. Manage the Department, defining professional principles and ensuring conditions for smooth operation.
• Improve and oversee all accounting and financial activities.
• Prepare business plan and forecast on a regular basis.
• Manage month-end processes, including IFRS/USGAAP.
• Manage all plant reporting to Magna Headquarters via Hyperion and OneStream systems.
• Prepare and communicate comprehensive KPI reports as part of the PDCA (plan, do, check, act) cycle.
• Establish and maintain an appropriate internal control environment, ensure compliance with company policies.
• Drive cost reduction activities.
• Prepare intercompany and third party price calculations.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, objectives and business drivers.
• Work with external advisory partners.
• Prepare professional materials to investment and financing decision-making and support strategic decisions.
• Manage cashflow and recovery management.
• Support internal and external audits of the manufacturing site, maintain SOX and local tax related records.

• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in business.
• 5 years of experience as a finance manager in a similar manufacturing environment in an international company.
• Knowledge of reporting processes in a multinational corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of process controls and procedure.
• Experience in controlling in a manufacturing environment.
• Practical approach with a proactive attitude.
• Experience in decision-making support.
• Up-to-date tax and accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably in SAP FICO module.
• Proficiency with financial reporting systems: Hyperion/OneStream.
• Excellent command on MS Office - especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills both in Hungarian and English
