Responsibilities

  • Prepare general ledger entries and documentation
  • Reconcile monthly GL and subledgers
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Analyze material variances and production costs
  • Prepare and analyze cost center reports for local management
  • Update product costings, including new product implementations
  • Ensure standard costs are maintained across the product range
  • Support cost-saving initiatives
  • Represent finance in the implementation of the new SAP system
  • Provide ad hoc analyses for local management
  • Ensure compliance with the Filtrona Accounting Manual

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional accounting qualification
  • Ability to interact and influence senior management
  • Strong numeracy and IT skills (Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Pragmatic approach to achieving quality results within deadline

Nice-to-have

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, product costing, standard cost
  • Experience with integrated system implementation (SAP)
  • Visual basic, Power BI knowledge
