Responsibilities

The Field Service Manager Hungary is directly responsible for the Field Service Team in Hungary, which oversees customer oriented technical on-site support of the Hach Instrument Portfolio.
This position is part of the Central Eastern European Field Service Management team and is located in Budapest. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the company office and part-time remotely from your home.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
  • You will manage a highly qualified and motivated team of engineers to provide our customers with the best possible service for our products and solutions.
  • You will use Hach University to train your team according to individual development plans.
  • In close cooperation with the sales team, you will expand our service business and benefit from your strengths in communication.
  • The strategic orientation in Hungary is the key to success. Here you are the daily contact person for our management team in Hungary, of which you are an active and welcome member.

Requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:  
  • You already have first experience leading a team of field service engineers.
  • Even working in an area of technical services you see yourself as commercial leader.
  • You enjoy communicating and can handle multiple complex matters easily.
  • You already have first experience in an international operating company, knowing KAIZEN is a plus
  • You are interested in exploring together with us new areas of interest and growing in your role
  • Language skills: native Hungarian is mandatory and good written and spoken English
