As a Facilities Specialist, you will support the daily operations and development of facility services at Roche-Budapest, ensuring high-quality working conditions for employees and visitors. You will manage the SAM (Seating & Asset Management / Ticketing and Parking booking) software, contribute to office refurbishment projects, oversee planned preventive maintenance, and supervise maintenance activities. You will also collaborate with teams such as SHE, Security, Procurement, IT, Office Executive, Legal, and Medical to deliver efficient and compliant facility operations, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.

The Opportunity

  • Conducting routine inspections and troubleshooting office facilities, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Managing and improving the SAM (Seating & Asset Management and Ticketing) software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring and administering utility consumption data, preparing energy efficiency recommendations, and generating key performance indicator reports for senior management.
  • Overseeing and coordinating annual inventory tasks, including compiling and verifying reports and statements.
  • Creating, maintaining, and archiving documentation in compliance with Roche directives, Hungarian laws, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors on facility initiatives, including office moves, renovations, and furniture rearrangements.
  • Supervising and developing the performance of handymen and other maintenance personnel to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to standards.

Who you are

  • University education; preferably in a technical field
  • At least 3 years of experience in an office or property operations environment, with exposure to project and change management.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements for common maintenance procedures, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
  • Expertise in facilities and maintenance management, including preventive inspections, troubleshooting, and implementing LEAN methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, CCTV, Fire Prevention Systems, and related technologies.
  • Strong multitasking and independent working skills, combined with the ability to effectively collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English, with additional languages being advantageous.
