Responsibilities

You will be part of the management team and will report to the Managing Director.
The role involves the implementation of all the actions defined locally or at group level regarding the growth and structure of the company.
The F&A Chief Accountant / Manager is in charge of applying and organizing all financial processes (accounting, reporting, controlling, administration) with the support of the local team and the group/BU resources.

Main activities:

  • Ensure compliance of the reporting with the group accounting principles
  • Prepare the budget and forecast with the support of the management team of the company
  • Close cooperation with other entities of the company group, data provision, support of the controlling of the company group
  • Handle monthly, and annual closings
  • Cash management
  • Management of the accounting team
  • Improve financial processes (closing, payments, validation, cost saving…)
  • Dealing with authorities, banks, insurances, rental topic and administrative tasks related to the site of the company

Requirements

  • Specialized (Finance / Accounting) higher education
  • Solid few years experience within a financial environment (preferably multinational company)
  • Familiar with reporting in international group
  • Up-to-date accounting and taxation knowledge, ensuring compliance with laws
  • IFRS knowledge as advantage, but a must to learn and use it on the job
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP system
  • Good English and fluent Hungarian
  • Open personality, loyal, strictly confidential (sense of discretion), priority management, sense of urgency, rigorous and pragmatic, well organized, diplomatic, proactive, business acumen
