Devops and Site Reliability Engineering [Veszprem, Hungary]@Strivacity Job description: We’re looking for a Manager or Director of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering to lead and scale our DevOps and SRE initiatives. This role will be hired at either the Manager or Director level based on the candidate’s experience, leadership capabilities, and impact potential. We encourage senior and principal-level engineers with strong technical expertise and a desire to step into (or expand) a leadership role to apply. If you have a track record of managing people, building, automating, and optimizing infrastructure at scale, and you're eager to drive strategy while remaining hands-on where needed, we want to hear from you. You’ll be the expert of our software and systems engineering to facilitate, build and run scalable, distributed (multi-region), fault-tolerant systems. Your job is to keep our customers happy by ensuring the reliability of the Strivacity platform. That also means you’ll play a major part in ensuring that the same platform is secure and both customers and Strivacity are protected. Professional skills: 7+ years experience in Software Engineering w/ focus on DevOps or SRE. (****), Experience and knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. (*****), Experience with Monitoring solutions like Prometheus & Grafana. (***), Experience with scripting languages (bash, python, etc). (***), Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm (*****) Personal skills: Possesses a strong belief in software engineering best practices., Possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills., Ability to quickly grasp concepts and solve complex problem. Qualifications: (No qualification required)) Language skills: English(Fit for negotiation)) Responsibilities: You will lead, mentor, and support the team to drive results and foster a collaborative culture., You will understand how our services are performing and the capabilities around their capacity and security, and may need to assist in responding to incidents or outages., Create, implement and maintain programs to ensure our hybrid (multi-instance) infrastructure and architecture surpass that of our customers' needs., Ensure Backup & Restore capabilities are designed and implemented to industry best practices. Implement autonomous systems and reporting for repeatable testing of recovery point and time objectives., Ensure infrastructure and services and monitored to meet our service level objectives., Ensure automated alerting and automated escalation of critical issues, Strive to achieve complete automation of repetitive & arduous tasks., Continuously improve operational cost-modeling and cost-tracking., Encourage GitOps/Infrastructure-as-code best practices., Provide general support for operational tools & services (outages, upgrades, triage, developer assistance, etc).
