Data Quality Expert in Waste Management
Responsibilities:
- Identifies the most important data areas in different systems (including but not limited to SAP and Salesforce) and processes. Defines data quality KPIs.
- Works closely together with business representatives to understand business processes and data lifecycle to identify development areas.
- Proposes development directions in different systems to relevant Product Owners, exchanges possibilities with IT department.
- Continuously analysing data to discover contradictions and to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Has advanced reporting capabilities in Excel (Macro, Power Pivot, Power Query) and familiar with SQL.
- Carries out regular and occasional data cleansing initiatives to increase data quality.
- Occasionally corrects data in different systems.
- Works together and supports the Reporting Product Owner to increase quality of reports. Supports to identify potential root causes of inaccuracy in reports.
- Works together and supports the Master Data Product Owner to increase quality of master data.
- Continuously challenges the status quo, follows up best practices.
Requirements:
- University/College degree
- 3-4 years of work experience, 1-2 years on relevant area
- “Customer first” mindset and strong stakeholder management skills
- General good understanding of IT systems and architectures, project management practices (including agile), development methods
- Advanced analytical skills
- Good English knowledge
- Flexibility, results oriented mindset and problem-solving attitude
