Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the Cost Control function of the hotel, by analysing each departments’ ordering and consumption patterns of overheads, and closely monitoring that these adhere to the agreed budgets, costings, and standards.
  • Keeping the data of the Materials Control and/or Adaco system up to date.
  • Maintaining of POS system
  • Examination of price differences between paid and ordered goods
  • Quarterly evaluation of stocks, proposal for scrapping or resale
  • Participating in and following up on scrapping procedures
  • Preparing a monthly cost control report for management
  • Comparative analysis of food and beverage costs
  • Carrying out monthly, quarterly and annual inventories
  • Preparing a monthly inventory stock movement table, highlighting differences

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in relevant field
  • Fluent both in written and spoken English and Hungarian
  • Excellent spreadsheet and word processing skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Analytical and have driven to initiate new ideas or plans
  • Empathy for your guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Pride and attention to detail in your work
  • Knowledge of Oracle Materials Control and/or Adaco systems
  • Knowledge of Micros Simphony system
