Our client is an international holding company leading a market segment in the services industry. We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer for its Hungarian team working in its Budapest office.
The CFO is overall responsible for all finance, administration and settlement relating matters in close cooperation with the Managing Director & RCFO.
Main tasks:
- Prepare monthly KPI reports, book close & budget plan supporting the controlling of the company group by delivering timely, reliable and trustworthy book close and budgets figures
- AR / AP management - Develop and maintain the Credit Management Policy and prepare proper credit evaluations. Ensure the registration of incoming invoices and proper / timely payment of due supplier invoices
- Cash management & treasury - Manage, monitor and optimize cash flow and bank relationship
- Cost & Revenue Controlling - Establish and maintain an appropriate internal control environment, drive revenue increase and cost reduction activities
- Manage risk by identifying threads against the strategy of the company and ensure adequate insurance coverage
- Corporate setup & tax structure - Maintain contact to company/local lawyers and auditors, be responsible for the optimal VAT and TAX structure / corporate setup
- Finance operation / admin - Ensure that the working procedures are efficient and well documented, handle fixed assets, ensure that invoices, documents and contracts are filed in line with regional and local legislation, responsible for admin matters related to office and supplies
- Manage the accounting team - handle salaries, vacation and pension including reporting to local authorities, conduct performance reviews, recruit, develop, supervise and retain staff
- Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumption and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
- Support customer communication on finance related matters
- Representation of the holding at professional events and conferences.
