CCE Analysis and Reporting Lead

We established our service centre supporting Tesco's operation in the Central European region back in 2019. Our colleagues provide service for Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia in several fields: finance, payroll and internal helpdesk. Besides these, we have a modern Technology Hub developing software and applications used by millions of people globally. In this role, you'll leverage customer and colleague data to provide valuable analysis and reporting that directly impacts performance and key metrics within Business Services. You will play an integral part in sharing actionable insights to help the team identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring we continuously enhance the experience for Tesco shoppers.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding our Core Purpose: Ensure clarity on the role you play in delivering Tesco's mission.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Understand the part you play in delivering key metrics and performance measures, consistently achieving high-quality and reliable results.
• Routine and Ad-Hoc Reporting: Produce regular reporting using various data sources and methodologies, while also handling emerging issues and peak trading periods.
• Data Discovery & Insight Generation: Carry out data discovery to uncover hidden patterns and insights, validating hypotheses and identifying the 'size of the prize' for strategic prioritization.
• Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and drive innovative analytics practices that enhance the quality, efficiency, and impact of your insights.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with colleagues, your manager, and other stakeholders to implement changes and support strategic initiatives.
• Personal Growth & Development: Regularly engage in personal objectives, one-on-ones, and structured conversations to continually develop your skills and reach your full potential.

What We're Looking For:

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision are key in this role.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Experience with numerical analysis and statistical methods.
• Planning and Organization: Able to prioritize tasks and manage your workload effectively.
• Logical Thinking & Decision Making: Use data to make informed decisions that drive business results.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Microsoft Office, MS SQL, Python, VBA, R, or similar tools.
• Communication Skills: Able to present complex data in an easy-to-understand format.
• Language Proficiency: Upper Intermediate English and Advanced Hungarian. Knowledge of Slovak or Czech is a plus.
• Experience & Education: A university degree with 3-4 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
