Responsibilities

  • Review recurring operational and financial KPIs to spot unusual trends, missing data, or incorrect results
  • Make sense of the numbers: ensure data reflects business reality, challenge unexpected outcomes, and clearly explain insights
  • Translate questions from Supply Chain, Operations, and FP&A into clear analyses: for example, “Why did inventory jump?”, “Why is margin down?”, “Where are variances coming from?”
  • Identify data inconsistencies and drive root cause resolution
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that supports the business, ensuring the numbers are accurate and easy to interpret
  • Work closely with FP&A to support forecasting, monthly close, identifying variances, validating data, and explaining operational drivers behind financial results
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss findings, challenge assumptions, and help them understand the story behind the numbers
  • Improve data logic, definitions, and data quality in collaboration with IT and business owners
  • Continuously look for simplification opportunities in reporting and analytics across the business

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in analytical roles linked to business or financial decision making
  • Strong business acumen and ability to recognize when numbers do not make sense
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other visualization tools. Experience with HFM or Business Warehouse is a plus
  • Basic technical skills (SQL, Python, or similar) are a plus, and you should have an affinity for working with data and technical tools
  • Experience with SAP or another major ERP is preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English

  • German language skills

The ideal candidate is comfortable challenging assumptions, explaining variances, and acting as a true business partner.
