Business information security officer

What will you do?

Reporting to the CEO, you will be involved into a wide range of tasks, but mainly you will be responsible for the defining and leading the BISO function, coordinate closely with IT, Legal and Compliance and National Bank of Hungary to drive the execution of the cyber security program.

Let us detail for you a bit what in our mind is:

• Lead the implementation of the BISO strategy and on-going initiatives designed to ensure compliance with established information security guidelines, standards, and policies.
• Lead engagement with IT teams to drive adoption of Information Security products and facilitate ongoing feedback to Information Security developer teams.
• Lead development of the application threat modeling capability.
• Coordinate with GIRO, National Bank of Hungary and the IT team to ensure bank’s applications are secure for the customer
• Provide insight on information security best practices and provide insight on future direction of the program(s) for the organization.
• Collaborate on selecting, monitoring, and reporting specific security metrics to oversight committees and working groups as appropriate and required.
• Resolve conflicts in laws, regulation, policies, standards, or procedures as they pertain to the BISO Program.
• Contribute to the creation, implementation, and modification of information security policies and procedures throughout the Bank.
• Actively monitor industry trends; participate in industry forums

Your Trive profile:

• You have at least 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and/or Technology combined with experience with supervision of employees and/or contractors
• You 6+ years of experience with financial services industry, regulatory, and legal requirements. Specifically, interpreting requirements, translating requirements in to control designs, and implementing the controls effectively
• Your communication in English and in Hungarian is solid both written and oral
• You Strong technical background working with security technology and tools such as: Cloud service provider security risk and controls, Firewalls, Secure email gateway, Web proxies, Identity and access management systems, Security Orchestration Automation and Response technologies, Certificate authorities, Data Loss Prevention, Encryption, Multi factor authentication, Microsoft 365
• You have knowledge of the following: Cyber threats and vulnerabilities, Operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses, Resource management principles and techniques, Software acquisition/procurement life cycle
• You are interested in how a bank is being built up
• You have an entrepreneur mindset who doesn’t get scared if there’s no clear process to deliver a task yet, but enjoys supporting in creation of it
• You are a true problem solver and has great organization skills
• You have customer service attitude
• You like working in a small and fun team
