Responsibilities

Based in Fertőd and reporting directly to our local Finance Manager, you will, as our new Business Analyst, take on controlling responsibilities for areas of our window production in Fertőd/Fertőszentmiklós. You will act as a business partner and go-to person for our Production Manager and department leaders when it comes to operational discussions and new production initiatives based on available financial data. With your in-depth knowledge of production and insight into performance, you will support decision-makers with analyses, business/investment cases, and reports.
  • Monitoring efficiency, production times, budgets, and material consumption for the site
  • Preparing annual standard cost budgets and standard cost calculations
  • Preparing monthly financial forecasts and monthly reports
  • Maintaining strong and effective communication and collaboration with Production Managers, colleagues in production, and other internal stakeholders
  • Supporting preparation of Investment & other business cases to fulfill internal requirement of approval process
  • Advising and sparring with management on financial challenges and opportunities

Requirements

  • You hold a higher education degree in economics or finance and preferably have a few years of experience in a similar position.
  • Most importantly, in addition to your strong numerical and business understanding, you are analytical, quality-oriented, thorough, and structured.
  • You also possess strong collaboration skills, as this role involves daily communication and cooperation with colleagues from various functional areas and responsibility levels in the organization.
  • You have an eye for detail but can also take a broader perspective and draw conclusions based on your understanding of what is happening in the organization and how this is reflected in numbers and data.

  • Are strong in stakeholder management and able to gain buy-in for initiatives through trust, confidentiality, and persuasive communication
  • Have the desire and ability to challenge, provide input, and uncover alternative options
  • Are experienced in analyzing data using tools such as Excel, PowerBI, or similar
  • Communicate professionally in Hungarian and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience with SAP and standard cost accounting is an advantage but not a requirement.
