Business Development Representative - Projects

We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a Business Development Representative Projects/Key Accounts at our Hungarian GCE subsidiary. The GCE Group is today Europe ́s leading company in the field of gas control and is involved in the development and manufacturing of all types of equipment for pressure and flow control of high-pressure gases. GCE’s main business originally concentrated in the oxy-acetylene cutting and welding market. However, with almost 100 years of experience in the handling of high-pressure gases, the product range has now grown to include high purity and medical gas equipment.

About the job:

  • Customer Engagement: Engage with clients, assess needs, and foster lasting relationships.
  • Market Expansion: Proactively identify new market opportunities and partners, both locally and internationally.
  • Strategic Analysis: Analyze market reports to pinpoint business prospects and growth areas.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals for existing customers to explore additional product opportunities.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Participate in the preparation and execution of marketing promotions.
  • Administrative Support: Handle sales administration tasks and address customer concerns.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with prospective customers.
  • Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the latest products, services, and pricing plans.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in a technical/chemical engineering field with a minimum of 3 years of technical goods sales experience.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, with 3 years in business development outside Hungary.
  • Proficiency in English and Hungarian.
  • Type B driving license.
  • Willingness to travel primarily outside Hungary, travel percentage 20-25 % on average as per business needs (Southeast Europe).
  • Competency in Microsoft applications and MS Office tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, "hunter-type" personality.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
