Responsibilities

  • Focus on Adding new partners to our partner’s customer base via proactive hunting of leads.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and market growth targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and potential areas of expansion within the B2B travel industry.
  • Analyze competitors' offerings and market positioning to refine sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as travel agencies, corporate accounts, and other channel partners.
  • Identify and target potential B2B clients, presenting tailored solutions to meet their travel requirements.
  • Manage contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and successful onboarding of new clients.
  • Define strategy to increase the conversion of leads into growing partnerships.
  • Train, Hand hold, guide new clients to become experts using our partner’s platform.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Track KPIs and measure success against strategic goals, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
  • 3–7 years of experience in business development, preferably within the B2B travel or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the travel industry, including global distribution systems (GDS), travel policies, and corporate travel management.
  • Sales Expertise: Strong sales acumen with experience in consultative selling and client engagement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for building strong client relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
  • Negotiation: Skilled in contract negotiations to drive favorable outcomes.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and travel industry software.
