`We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our dynamic International Trade team. This role will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities in the global market for commodities, pigments, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients, negotiating deals, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential new markets, clients, and product opportunities in the international arena.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with international clients across various industries.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
    • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Sales and Account Management:
    • Manage existing client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Identify and address client needs and concerns proactively.
    • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • International Trade Operations:
    • Manage the entire order fulfillment process, including logistics, documentation, and customs clearance.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and procedures.
  • Market Entry Strategies:
    • Develop and implement strategies for entering new international markets.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with international trade.
  • Business Development Planning:
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's overall international trade strategy.
    • Prepare regular reports on market trends, sales performance, and competitor activities.

 

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in international sales, business development, or a related field within the commodities, pigments, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals industries.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong understanding of international trade principles, including import/export regulations, logistics, and customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other foreign language.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Nice-to-have

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in International Business or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of international trade finance and risk management.
  • Experience in working with diverse cultures and international business practices.
