Responsibilities

  • Continuous monitoring and analysis of the company's costs, exploration of cost reduction opportunities
  • Investigating and analysing budget deviations, uncovering the causes of deviations, and developing proposals for their improvement
  • Monitoring the development of the company's performance, making recommendations to increase efficiency
  • Preparation of monthly cost and profit statements and reporting directly to the CFO of Stephex Group
  • Analysis of financial statements, monitoring and evaluation of KPIs (key performance indicators).
  • Close cooperation with various departments to strengthen business processes and financial control
  • Creation of ad-hoc reports and analyses to support strategic decisions

Requirements

  • Higher education in controlling, finance or business economics (e.g. economist, financial management)
  • At least 5 years of relevant controlling or financial analyst experience in a manufacturing company environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English for reporting and discussing findings and the ability to present financial information clearly and comprehensibly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse complex financial data and trends and turn them into actionable insights
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address financial challenges
  • Proficiency in working with financial systems such as ERP software (e.g. Business Central) and spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Experience with financial planning processes and forecasting
  • Precision, sense of responsibility and deadline orientation
  • Able to work independently
