IF WE BREAK THIS ROLE DOWN INTO KEY TASKS, THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As a Bid Management Lead, you will play a key role in winning complex deals. You’ll bring together technical and sales teams, manage the bid process from start to finish, and ensure contracts are accurate and delivered on time. This role is all about coordination, problem-solving, and keeping everything on track, so every deal moves forward smoothly.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the bid process from initiation to execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle by managing contract creation and amendments for various contract types (commercial, public sector, subcontractors).
  • Kickstart pre-sales activities and coordinate resources for complex pursuits.
  • Draft and review contracts using Microsoft templates and tools, and manage approval workflows.
  • Track deals end-to-end, from bid stage through execution, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
  • Create stage-wise plans to support the bid process and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate approvals, including budgetary estimates and statements of work.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to address resource and technical requirements for deals.
  • Monitor contract setup and validation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Resolve stakeholder queries and manage escalations effectively.
  • Prepare reports and analytics to provide visibility on deal status and performance.
  • Maintain system updates and queue hygiene, ensuring smooth handover from sales to delivery.
  • Facilitate deal approvals, monitor expiration dates, and prioritize urgent requests.
  • Support resource management activities, including updates in customer applications as per SOP.
  • Participate in client meetings and cadence calls, representing the team professionally.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to best-practice sharing.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU POSSESS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in presales, bid management, project management, or customer relationship services in the Software Services, Consulting, or IT sectors, with a track record of managing deals over 200K USD/Euros.
  • Proven expertise in RFP, RFI, or RFQ processes and experience in bid or project management.
  • A solid understanding of contracts, resource management systems, and familiarity with cloud concepts, AI, IoT, MS Dynamics, and Salesforce.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, combined with an innovative, quality-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A quick adaptability to changing business needs and fluency in English.
