Responsibilities

      Balance Sheet Governance (BSG) has global oversight of the Balance Sheet reconciliation and substantiation process, owning the governance framework and policy and acting as central escalation point for substantiation issues. The Analytics & Delivery team within Balance Sheet Governance (BSG) is accountable for the management of complex, critical, transformational projects. They assist in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering BSG across company’s businesses, products, functions and locations.
  The Lead Balance Sheet Controls Analyst will have recognized technical authority for an area within the business and significant impact on the area through complex deliverables.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing end-to-end project tracking, reporting and implementation of processes, as well as communication of results.
  • Contributes to the implementation of BSG processes on technology platforms and applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions.
  • Ensures timely cycle opening for eRecon (internal application) and assists role holders with issue resolution.
  • Deals with complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, that requires weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the company, its clients and assets.

Requirements

  • University degree, master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the financial services industry
  • Experience in Program Management, including Project Management and/or management reporting and analysis.
  • Organizational skills: ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously, meet deadlines.
  • Confident analytical and communication skills
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
