Automation tester

• Collaborate with product development team to understand requirements, create detailed test cases, and convert them into automated tests
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for our products
• Test and ensure that every configurable property of the product can be adjusted accordingly via a graphical user interface
• Test and ensure that data transmitted by the product arrives at the recipient with full integrity
• Test and ensure that the product works uniformly across all deployment targets both physical and virtual
• Identify, document, and track software defects. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
• Manage test data to ensure consistency and reliability of automated tests
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Developers, DevOps, Product Managers, and Support teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality of the software
• Stay updated on relevant technologies and practices

• Deep understanding of GitLab and all of its modules is a must
• 2+ years of experience in automated software testing (including design, writing, and execution of tests) is a must
• Experience in QA automation: automated testing of user interfaces (UI)
• Advanced knowledge of test design patterns and a variety of test techniques
• Experience working with one of the following automation frameworks (e.g.: WebdriverIO(Selenium and Appium), Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer, Jest)
• Experience in QA automation in a software development environment focused on VPNs, networking, or security - nice to have
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Passion for breaking things
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and consistently meet deadlines
