ABOUT THE JOB

Ceva seeks applicants for the full-time position of Maintenance Automation Engineer in the Maintenance team within the Technical directorate of Ceva's Phlyaxia Campus in Budapest's 10^th district. This is an onsite role with possibility of up to (10) home office days monthly.

The Phylaxia Campus is one of the flagship sites of Ceva Animal Health group. The Maintenance team deals with the reactive and preventive maintenance works of the production related areas and with some minor development projects. It includes not only the production technology machines (vessels, filling lines, etc), but also the aseptic utilities (water-steam systems, air handling, cooling-heating, etc).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Reporting to the Automation group-leader, and as a member of an automation expert team, you will support the day-to-day trouble-shooting processes, effectively participate in preventive maintenance works and also plan and execute development projects.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Operation of control systems (SCADA, HMI, PLC, DCS), troubleshooting of individual systems (production machines, building engineering equipment, environmental monitoring systems), and system restoration
• Operational, backup, and archival tasks related to supervisory systems, along with authorization and user management
• Participation in tasks related to procurements and investments (professional preparation for supplier and system selection)
• Assisting in assessing needs related to control systems and supporting their commissioning
• Planning, organizing, and managing preventive maintenance (PM) programs within their professional domain;
• Leading, training, and evaluating electrical maintenance staff
• Monitoring the condition of automation systems, making suggestions for repairs and improvements to increase their reliability
• Maintaining contact with contractors for the execution of repairs and verifying their completion
• Analyzing repair processes, determining the need for spare parts in their area, and supporting their procurement

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering (BSc or MSc)
• Professional experience in an automated manufacturing environment; knowledge of control and supervisory systems; practical experience with PLCs (preferably Siemens but Omron, Allen-Bradley are also acceptable)
• Fluent in English communication (spoken and written)
