  • About the role

    As an Application Support Specialist with SharePoint expertise, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our critical applications, including SharePoint, that support our lawyers and business professionals. You will provide technical assistance, manage incident resolution, and deliver proactive solutions to enhance systems. Ideally you have a strong background in IT support with a focus on SharePoint, and skilled at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide day-to-day support for SharePoint applications, ensuring seamless operation for users.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, collaborating with users, developers, and system administrators.
    • Manage incident tickets, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.
    • Coordinate software updates, patches, and upgrades for SharePoint and other critical applications.
    • Conduct system testing and support deployment activities to ensure optimal performance of all applications.
    • Work closely with the IT support team to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to existing workflows.
    • Document system configurations, issues, and solutions in a clear and accessible manner for future reference.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing application performance and recommending optimizations.

Requirements

    • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an IT support role, with a strong focus on application support.
    • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint
    • Experience with document management, workflow automation, and collaboration tools within SharePoint.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical users effectively.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple incidents or requests in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience working in a law firm or corporate environment is a plus but not required.
    • Familiarity with other office productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, etc.) is desirable.
    • Ability to work independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of ownership.
