Analytical Laboratory Lead fixed-term

Contract type: fixed-term until February 2027
 

Coca Cola HBC Hungary is seeking a dynamic Production Quality and Food Safety Lead to head up our laboratory in Dunaharaszti. You will support the Hungarian team with driving projects, coordinating programs, and ensuring standardization across the operation in one of the biggest FMCG company’s laboratory. Step into this role and develop your managerial skills by leading a team of 25-30 dedicated professionals and widen your expertise in direct and indirect production as well!

In the laboratory
 

• Ensuring the quality, accuracy, robustness, and efficiency of our laboratory processes
• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS system together with functional managers (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000)
• Drive/support QFS related projects of the plants in Preventive Maintenance, Batch management, Line installation, Change request, monitoring laboratory costs etc.
• Calibration and service/inspection of laboratory and workshop equipment
• Supporting audit management
• Active participation in complaint management and organization of investigations, coordination of external laboratories
   

Leading the team
 

• Leading a team of 25-30 technicians and microbiologists
• Preparing shift arrangements
• Holding regular performance discussions
• Coaching and mentoring team members

• University degree
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• 1-2 years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of food, FMCG or related laboratory practices but we welcome applicants with experience from national institutes as well
• Intermediate English knowledge
