Our client European Institute Of Innovation and Technology (EIT) looks for a new colleague as
Communication Officer
for 10 months (with possibility of extension)
Salary: from 3.800 - 5.600 EUR gross (all salary payments are converted into HUF)
Place of work: Budapest
Purpose:
Provide support in the fields indicated under “Tasks” and provide daily support as Communication officer
Tasks:
- Contribute to the implementation of the EIT Communication & Engagement Annual Work Plan to increase the visibility of the EIT’s activities and achievements;
- Coordinate EIT Communication campaigns including concept development, project management, visual asset creation, and coordination between team members
- Coordinate and draft background briefings and speaking points for senior management to support their participation in meetings, events and interviews;
- Draft reports and concept notes and carrying out research and analysis;
- Providing support with the organisation of conferences and events for stakeholders;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the EIT Annual Work Programme to increase the visibility of the EIT’s and its KICs activities and achievements.
Professional experience:
- Ability to demonstrate experience of above tasks through different professional experience
- A minimum of 3 years of full time work experience in communications, marketing, journalism or related discipline
- A minimum of one year professional experience of above tasks in an English setting
Qualification:
- Completed university degree – Bachelor
Advantageous:
- Completed university degree – Masters level
- Degree in EU studies, politics, communications, marketing, philosophy, arts, history, languages
- Experience in working for an EU institution
- Project Management experience
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
Language skills:
- Excellent command of the English language (at least C1 Level based on the Common Framework of Reference Languages)
IT Skills:
- Computer literacy and in particular excellent use of MS Office applications, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Other skills and competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong ability to draft briefings and analytical reports
- Large event organisation experience
- Experience in managing social media channels and tools for a large scale organisation
- Ability to communicate effectively and convincingly to different audiences
- Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadline
