Functional Specialist

Our manufacturing partner is looking for a Functional Specialist.  

Your tasks:

  • Lead project management & reporting for new installations, collaborating with PMO to define project planning, documentation, and cost tracking 
  • Assess and define specific needs for new presses, ensuring seamless ERP and Quality system integration when required 
  • Coordinate with internal and external PLC programmers to ensure compliance with system standards 
  • Configure applications to meet site-specific requirements 
  • Train operators and middle management on-site to ensure smooth adoption of the system 
  • Identify and specify new module requirements or improvements to enhance system functionality 
  • Participate in on-site Go-Live support for successful implementation
  • Provide training and user support for existing self-developed MES system installations 
  • Manage Small Project Requests (SPR), ensuring efficient follow-ups and implementations 
  • Collaborate with the technical team to resolve incidents and improve system stability 
  • Develop new reports using Power BI and BIRT to enhance decision-making
  • Ensure all work aligns with the company’s Quality System, HSE regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures 

    Requirements:

  • Good IT knowledge combined with a strong interest in manufacturing processes 
  • 1-3 years of experience working with SQL, Power BI, and various databases—preferably in the manufacturing industry 
  • A Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Vocational Degree in a relevant field 
  • Fluent English knowledge
