Medior/Senior Frontend Developer

Our partner is looking for a Medior and a Senior Frontend Developer to join to their team.

Our partner provides a platform for comparing financial products, offering guidance and advice to help users make informed decisions about banking, insurance, and investments.

Your new role 

Our partner is looking for a Medior and a Senior Frontend Developer with strong TypeScript and React skills, capable of writing clean, maintainable, and optimized code, and who can proactively participate.

• Developing new frontend components and full features based on React and TypeScript
• Refactoring and optimizing existing user interfaces (migrating a React+TypeScript+PHP web application to Kubernetes, rewriting client-side code to use OpenAPI-based TypeScript client instead of direct fetch calls)
• Developing and maintaining design systems and UI component libraries
• Writing unit and integration tests using Vitest and Selenium
• Developing and maintaining frontend-specific CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Fixing and preventing issues reported in live systems
• Participating in agile processes (sprint planning, Jira management, refinement), conducting code reviews, mentoring juniors, and sharing knowledge (documentation, demos)

What you'll need to succeed 

• Minimum 5 years of frontend development experience
• Proficient in React and TypeScript
• Experience with REST API integrations between frontend and backend (OpenAPI)
• Knowledge of Next.js or other SSR/SSG solutions
• Experience in CSS and UI component development (Tailwind, Styled Components, SCSS)
• Experience in performance optimisation and UI component development
• Proficiency in version control and CI/CD systems (Git, GitHub Actions)

Preferred skills:

• Knowledge of Next.js, Astro, or other SSR/SSG solutions
• Experience with Storybook or other component documentation tools
• Experience in unit and end-to-end testing (Vitest, Selenium)
• Knowledge of cloud (AWS, Lambda, CloudFront) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Full stack development knowledge (Java, Node.js)
