Production Planning Manager Global Supply Chain
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of global supply chain planning processes and standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop best-in-class planning work processes.
- Manage and develop a team of planners to ensure efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
- Oversee short, mid, and long-term supply plans for raw materials, production, and distribution.
- Coordinate with various departments to optimize supply chain operations and minimize costs.
- Implement inventory control policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Track key performance indicators and present findings to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-lead the creation of end-to-end planning standards.
- Partner with IT and Global Process Owners to standardize ERP systems and planning tools.
- Train and develop a high-performing planning organization.
- Oversee the development of supply plans and inventory strategies.
- Lead coordination with manufacturing, procurement, and warehouse teams.
- Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
- Optimize transportation routes and costs.
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance.
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Master's degree and professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or inventory management.
- Experience with SIOP demand and supply planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., S4/Hana, APO, IBP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to drive change and build strategic plans.
