Drupal Developer

Job Overview:

• The role is based in Budapest, supporting the development of a Digital Product Portfolio for Sales & Marketing activities across various schools.
• Responsibilities include customizing Drupal for school websites and developing a lead form generator to capture student data into Salesforce.

Main Activities:

• Develop or evolve software to meet customer needs.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Track activity and communicate progress to the project manager.
• Test applications, document, and address malfunctions.
• Integrate graphic mock-ups.
• Provide technical support and assistance on urgent projects.
• Participate in various project phases.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of CMS expertise (Drupal, WordPress, etc.).
• 5+ years of PHP and MySQL expertise.
• Knowledge of Drupal site building methods.
• Experience with functional and unit testing (PhpUnit).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD.
• Understanding of API and security best practices.
• DevOps and outsourcing experience (CI/CD, Docker, Composer) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective time and priority management.
• Desire to learn and stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in English and Hungarian.
• Willingness to make a long-term commitment and contribute to product growth.

Technical Environment:

• CMS: Drupal 9/10 site building.
• Backend: PHP 7.x/8.x, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Linux, Symfony 5.x minimum.
• Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Twig.
• Development environment: Linux, Git/GitLab, PHPStorm.
• Hosting: Platform.sh, Azure.

• Fluency in English and Hungarian is required; French is a plus.
