Tasks / Feladatok
- Ensure cost transparency for components and processes
- Find cost down potentials in serial and new projects
- Conduct cost evaluation, consulting, and support for basic and preliminary development
- Support the purchasing department in price negotiations
- Standardize cost analysis across the product portfolio/commodities
- Develop tools (e.g., cycle time calculator, parametric evaluation models) to increase efficiency
Requirements / Elvárások
- Technical or business studies (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering)
- Experience in Cost Engineering for more than 2 years for Plastic & Elastomer Parts
- Experience with value analysis and cost analysis projects, preferably in the automotive industry is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and interests
- Business fluent in English; other languages are an advantage
- Expertise in Siemens TcPCM would be beneficial
- Cost Engineering Experiences in other mechanical technologies (e.g. Punched & Bent, machining, …)
- Certification as a Value Engineer is an advantage
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Ability to clearly present data insights to non-technical stakeholders
