Senior QA engineer (E-SG5)

• Leads the QA effort from development to release.
• Design software V&V (Validation and Verification) procedures to cover units, components, function and integration levels testing.
• Works with engineers to create automatic pipelines for QA.
• Create test plans and strategies for speech animation software products, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests to verify the functionality, performance and usability of speech animation software across dierent platforms and environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers to ensure alignment on quality goals and priorities.
• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, methodologies and tools to enhance the eciency and eectiveness of testing activities. ]
• Testing Procedures Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve testing procedures to enhance software reliability, testing efficiency, and product quality.
• Keep track of and analyze new issues by exploring how they can be tested and how improvements can be measured.
• Create initial test cases in preparation for tickets moving to the development phase.
• Support timely and ecient releases from development through production environments, ensuring smooth deployment and functionality.
• Support the documentation of front-end functionality by reviewing and analyzing system specications.
• Proactively seek information about tickets and requirements.
• Write and execute test scripts, review results, report and document technical issues, and provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
• Documentation and Functionality Review: Support the documentation of front-end functionality by reviewing and analyzing system specications.
• Proactively seek information about tickets and requirements.
• Test Execution and Defect Reporting: Write and execute test scripts, review results, report and document technical issues, and provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
• Testing Tools and Automation: Evaluate, install, maintain, and use software testing programs to streamline and optimize the testing process.
• Code Evaluation and Bug Reporting: Evaluate product code according to specifications, create logs to document testing phases and defects, and report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle

• Previous experience in software quality assurance.
• Analyzing products/services and writing full-coverage software test plans.
• Collaborating with development teams, product
• managers, and operations to create high quality test
• solutions in order to ensure complete test coverage.
• Writing test scripts, manual and automated testcases. 
• Creating test strategy documents.
• Investigating, analysing, conducting limited
• debugging, and ling bug reports during the
• qualication testing stage of the software
• development life cycle.
• Web API testing experience (Postman or similar)
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including manual and automated testing techniques.
• Mobile testing experience (Android, and/or iPhone/iPad).
• Knowledge of programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, SQL)
• Familiarity with Blue/Green and Canary testing principles
• Familiarity of working with Project Management and QA testing tools such as Jira and test management tools
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Ability to work within a schedule and deliver effectively to deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate testing strategies, ndings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations
• Ability to communicate in English fluently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software
• Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience
• Experience working with an agile development team (SCRUM, Kanban, etc).
• Understanding of software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Familiarity with at least one CI/CD framework like GitHub, Gitlab.
• Experience working with version control (Git, Bitbucket, etc)
• Participating and bringing testing considerations to technical design discussions
• Strong written ability and excellent communication skills
• Legal right to work in Hungary
• Ability to communicate in Hungarian and English fluently
