Senior Financial Accountant - Fixed Asset Focus Fixed term

Please note that this role offers a fixed-term contract (up until Feb 28, 2029). ​
As a Senior Financial Accountant specializing in Fixed Assets, you will perform day-to-day and closing activities according to predefined deadlines with full ownership of their tasks and in compliance with the Process Documentations of the respective business sub-process. You will closely collaborate and align on priorities with the Country Chief Accountant and propose process and system improvements. 
In this position you will focus on: 

• Performing accurate and timely financial tasks, including fixed asset and CAPEX accounting, leased asset reconciliation, consolidation reporting, system reconciliations, audit preparation, and participation in audits.
• Collaborating across functions and countries to enhance teamwork, support colleagues, manage communications with Roche Affiliates, and coordinate with non-financial teams and third parties.
• Aligning closely with the Country Chief Accountant to set priorities and suggest process and system improvements.
  Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Local Finance Team and Roche-Budapest.
• Flexibly handling various assignments, including cross-functional and cross-geographic tasks as business needs evolve.

• University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting related discipline
• 2-4 years of experience in a relevant position
• Strong understanding of Fixed Asset Accounting, good to have: SAP FA module, IAS16 and IFRS16 knowledge
• Excellent communication and analytical skills 
• Outstanding customer orientation and service focus
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude
• Proficiency in English
