Senior Core IP Network Engineer

for our Technology Team!

• DevOps tasks of CORE IP network segment:
  • MPLS core, edge and IBG networks
  • BNG, CGNAT
  • IP transit, CDN,  public and private peerings
• Participate in planning and design of network segment in a way to meet the required state-of-the-art standard of resiliency, capacity and security
• Ensures continuous capacity and lifecycle management of IP network elements
• Design, Test  and Implementation of the change requests in the network
• Assure business continuity and participate in Disaster Recovery planning and test exercises
• Continuously seek opportunities to develop operational efficiency through process improvement and network automation.

• Excellent overall understanding and demonstrated experience of IP Network aspects of a converged mobile/fixed operating company
• Excellent understanding of the telecommunications market and telecom networks and services
• Conceptual & Analytical thinking. Able to challenge given solutions and capitalise on innovation opportunities
• Customer focused
• MSC or BSC degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology or Electrical engineering or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Minimum 3-4 years IP network’s development and/or operation experience in telecommunication or enterprise environment
• Deep knowledge and understanding of IP networks and protocols, network security
• Good communication skills
• Intermediate spoken and written English
• Excellent computer skills
• Advantage:
  • Vendors’ technical Certifications (e.g. CCNP)
  • Programming experience in any of the following languages/systems: shell scripting, Python , Ansible
