We are looking for a dynamic Resource and Demand Planning Pharma Team Leader who will lead a regionally based Global Project and Planning Management team ensuring that the Headcount management and Business Solutions Management related activities assigned to their team are completed according to agreed ways of working, processes, timelines and quality & performance targets.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Managing a team of Headcount Managers, Business Solutions Experts and Data integrity Solutions Experts
  • Acting as the Pharma Operational Planning and Capacity management (OPCM) and Business Solutions Management (BSM) points of accountability for the execution of related activities
  • Ensuring the onboarding, training, mentoring, engagement, development, and recognition of their team members to maximizing their potential, performance, and overall success, through a close connection with OPCM platform Heads and BSM Heads
  • Assisting and alerting the OPCM or BSM Heads with resource optimization based on the workload of related activities
  • Driving and supporting their team delivering strong quality output in Headcount Management implementing changes to the R&D Portfolio Management System and delivering reporting
  • Participating in Headcount Management Community, OPCM Functions meetings, BI dashboarding forums and BSM ad hoc meetings to ensure harmonization of Ways of Working and optimization of operational processes and standards
  • Depending on the experience, Resource and Demand Planning Pharma Team Leader will have an operational role either as a Headcount manager or a Business Solutions Management role

About you

Experience:

  • Project management skills and experience, including the ability to anticipate delivery risks, bottlenecks, issues, and delays, and proactively prevent or minimize their impact
  • Experience in Headcount management and BI reporting
  • Proven experience as an effective leader and people manager, fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, energy, and creativity
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly when facing new challenges, using critical thinking and pragmatic approaches to solve complex problems with effective and timely solutions
  • Experience in rallying teams around management's vision and decisions, ensuring high levels of engagement

 

Soft skills:

  • Strong analytical skills combined with a quality-oriented approach
  • Excellent organizational skills with a results-driven mindset and a strong focus on accuracy
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationship-building with diverse stakeholders and functions
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written presentation skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Strong networking skills that enhance collaboration and connection across various organizational levels

 

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of BI Reporting solutions, Data fabric technology, Data Governance and Master Data Management
  • Knowledge of Planisware solutions will be a plus
  • Understanding of drug development concepts will be a plus

 

Education:

  • Master's degree (or above), preferably in a life science or drug development related field

 

Languages:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
