Quality Engineer / Specialist

To support the growth of an international company we are looking for a Quality Engineer / Specialist with potential to become Quality Team Leader to join our team.

The Q-Engineer becomes part of the Operations, where she/he participates in teamwork in both the Quality Assurance (Suppliers, Production, Finished Goods) and Quality System (ISO 9000). In accordance with the direct instructions of the Direct Manager, she/he cooperates with the technical departments to drive continuously improvement of the Quality KPIs.

Main activities include:

• Develop, implement and maintain a «Zero-Defects» strategy and a robust Quality Control Plan
• Use Lean techniques (PDCA, Fishbone, 5Why, Poka-Yoke…) to drive continuously improvement of Quality (by rootcause analysis, Paretos, action plans, Q-training)
• Check and control Supplier Quality, issue Q-complaints when necessary
• Monitor Production Quality and evaluate NOK-parts (decide for rework, reuse or scrap)
• Control Finished Goods Quality and deal with Quality Complaints
• Accurately and timely record all Q-data, make analysis, Q-charts and maintain Q-KPIs
• Participation in customer requirements/needs analysis, technical documentations preparation
• Quality Management representative

Requirements that make you the best candidate:

• Technical Engineer degree or equivalent Q-education
• Few years experience in Quality, in Process Engineering or in Lean Manufacturing
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge or strong interest
• ISO (comprehensive) knowledge
• MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook good knowledge
• Good English and fluent Hungarian
