Responsibilities

  • Support newly developed devices;
  • Developing drivers for interaction with testing equipment;
  • Developing scripts for testing device functions (measure satellite SNR, sensors calibration, wireless connectivity, etc.);
  • Maintaining a cross-platform desktop application for device firmware updates;
Working hour: Monday to Friday, at least 25-30 hours of work per week
Workterm: Long-term

Requirements

  • Valid full-time active student certificate or passive legal student certificate (in this case we can only accept applications from students under 25)
  • Strong knowledge of Python
  • Experience with Linux and command line
  • Understanding and practical experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
  • Proficiency with the version control system Git
  • Fluent English (Upper-intermediate+) is a must.

Nice-to-have

  • Proficiency in C++ (Qt)
  • Experience with embedded systems
  • Experience in developing multi-threaded applications
  • Experience with gRPC
  • Experience with MongoDB

What we offer

  • Under the new regulation, young people (under the age of 25) will not be paying the 15% personal income tax in Hungary starting from 2024.
  • Young people can take advantage of the income tax benefit until the month they reach the age of 25.
  • If the gross salary is higher than HUF 576, 601 we will have to deduct the 15% personal income tax from the salary.
