Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize the daily operational tasks of the Front Office department
  • Focus on the day-to-day management of the team
  • Having a pleasant personality combined with a dynamic and professional attitude to supervise and lead the team
  • Handle complaints and specific guest requests
  • Identify improvement in quality and people management
  • Ensure the continuous development and motivation of the Front office team, setting clear and measurable objectives and targets
  • Monitor the evolution of guest satisfaction and provide trainings according to the feedback of our guests.
  • Support the Rooms Division Manager in developing business policy plan
  • Having also an analytical mindset to be able to create plans and strategies about the current and future of the team.
  • Participating in Duty Management

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years as an Assistant Front Office Manager / Front Office Manager in a similar size and star rated property.
  • Having hands on management style and lead by example
  • Is capable to work as a team member as well as a leader
  • Opera system knowledge would be appreciated
  • Is flexible in working times (weekends and evenings upon business needs)
  • Is accurate in financial data and administrative processes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, reports)
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills 
  • Result oriented
  • Attentive to detail 
  • Initiative driven personality 
  • Positive attitude, flexibility at work 
  • Good team player, but strong ability to work independently.

Candidates must:

  • be a Hungarian citizen or EU citizen or the holder of a valid EU working permit.
  • be fluent in English and ideally Hungarian, however Hungarian not a must.
