We established our service centre supporting Tesco's operation in the Central European region back in 2019. Our colleagues provide service for Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia in several fields: finance, people and payroll services, colleague and customer engagement, customer and product, enterprise analytics. Besides these, we have a modern Technology Hub developing software and applications used by millions of people - customers and colleagues - globally. Czech or Slovak Speaking Finance Associate

The Role

  • Work within the team to ensure TGAP, guidelines, Key Financial Controls, other relevant policies and processes are correctly implemented in the country of responsibility
  • Meet business representatives to discuss issues · Actively prepare the ad hoc reports
  • Balance sheet reconciliation responsibility (supporting documentations, analysis etc.)
  • Period closure activities
  • Following the instructions and fulfilling assignments given to me by my line superior and delivering ad hoc tasks
  • Cooperation and support with other departments
  • Taking part in any project
  • Sharing knowledge and best practises with other colleagues
  • Perform other duties/Activities and AD HOC tasks related to my work or the work of my department as required / assigned by line manager & manager
  • Ensuring 100% compliance to Audit and any other regulations the process deals with

 

Your background

  • Minimum high school graduate
  • Experience in Finance is an advantage
  • Advanced Czech/Slovak language knowledge and intermediate level English knowledge
  • Financial accounting knowledge
  • Analytical skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Planning and organising/prioritisation skills
  • Customer focus
  • Intermediate MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) knowledge
  • Time Management
  • Numerical ability
  • At least basic reporting skills
