As on property sales contact for corporate customers, the Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel's corporate accounts. In addition, the role is responsible for proactively sourcing, prospecting and managing new and existing corporate, government, diplomatic and consortia transient accounts and TMC relationships.

Tasks & Involvements:

  • Managing the sales efforts for the hotel with the focus on local and global corporate accounts
  • Proactively search for new accounts as well as keep in contact with the existing clients
  • Efficient management of all sales related inquiries
  • Conducting site visits and meetings with clients (in-house and outside of the Hotel)
  • Keeping the Opera S&C database of corporate accounts clean and timely updated
  • Representing the hotel at various business events
  • Utilizing knowledge of understanding the overall corporate market segment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrable experience in hotel sales department
  • College/university degree in relevant field
  • Proficient command of English and Hungarian languages
  • Knowledge of the corporate segment and the hotel market of Budapest
  • A winning sales attitude with excellent negotiation & communication skills
  • Initiative/Proactive personality ready to source new business
  • Professional self & corporate representation
  • Knowledge of Opera hotel system
