Responsibilities

The Chef de Partie is responsible for preparing and cooking hot dishes, including pasta, risotto, main courses, grilled items, and other specialty dishes. Working as part of a team, they ensure consistent quality and presentation across all service periods, covering assigned shifts to maintain smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and present hot dishes in accordance with the hotel’s culinary standards.
  • Shift Coverage: Participate in a rotating schedule to cover morning and evening services, ensuring one or two Chef de Partie are always present.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sous Chef and fellow Chef de Partie to coordinate kitchen workflow and service efficiency.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations consistently.
  • Support & Flexibility: Assist in other kitchen sections as needed to ensure seamless service.
