The Bosch Engineering Centre of Budapest has been established in 2001. Today, it is a major research and development hub within the Bosch world focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. More than 2100 engineers are working together on complex automotive products within various fields of engineering from software to mechanical and hardware product development. Your ideas will be part of products improving the life across the globe.
The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.
Your contribution to something big
► Lead a team of 4-5 application engineers in the field of Alternator Electronics Voltage Regulator development
► Tasks of the application team:
► Analyze customer functional requirements; create internal requirements
► Create product variant
► Set-up test plan according to requirements
► Perform release tests, evaluate results
► Perform direct customer / OEM discussions
► Support production and quality topics
► Coach the team in methods and systematic engineering, leading by content
► Supporting people management (recruitment and employee development process)
► Define standard processes to ensure that all Bosch and customer requirements are met
► Ensure continuous improvement on a systematic way
► Lead engineer: support complex topics and release work products of team members
What distinguishes you
► M.Sc. in electrical engineering or similar area
► Experience in the field of power electronics, control, measurement technique
► Experience in leadership is an advantage
► Strong ownership mind-set
► Good coordination and communication skills
► Strong analytical and structural thinking, outstanding problem solving skills
► Customer and solution orientation
► Good English level both oral and written, the knowledge of German language is an advantage
