The Aircraft Engineer position is responsible for supporting defects outside of approved data limits for aircraft systems/engines/avionics and/or structures/interior in the EASA Part 145 environment. Your main task will be creating reports for these defects to the OEMs (Boeing, Airbus, etc.) and obtaining necessary approvals. Also preparation of airlines’ specific reports regarding aircraft systems/engines and/or structures/interior. You will support maintenance staff in project preparation, daily operation, and troubleshooting.
 

Aircraft Engineer

Task:

  • Manage defect reports and repair proposals to OEMs for defects not covered by the available approved maintenance data and obtain applicable approvals
  • Compile engineering reports required by the relevant company procedures and/or customer requirements
  • Prepare and certify Engineering Orders
  • Analyze and interpret aircraft maintenance documentation
  • Provide software requirements clarification and updates
  • Contribute to major modifications and repairs
  • Assist maintenance staff in troubleshooting and improvements
  • Support project management and audits
  • Supply engineering data to Airlines’ Engineering and Airline Representative
  • Collaborate with other departments and LHT network
  • Collaborate with Design Organizations

Expectation:

  • University degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering OR
  • University degree in Aircraft Engineering OR
  • EASA Part-66 Cat-B1/B2 license together with 5 years of experience as a certifying maintenance staff
Job related skillset:
  • Good technical and mechanical knowledge and experience
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Good/Excellent PC skills – Microsoft Office applications; CAD; (advantage any kind of programming skills)
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
