You will be an integral member of an international Field-Testing team contributing to the testing operations and logistics to be aligned with the current EU breeding and Field-Testing strategies. This role requires complete engagement in the trial management for the Hungarian network to deliver high quality data for product advancement as well as fostering partnerships and actively seeking new opportunities for engagement across the organization.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Active involvement in the following activities: Field selection and mapping, Flexx Filling operations, planting operations, trait notation capture, trial maintenance and plot harvest of the testing network of Corn and Winter Oil Seed Rape.
* Operating research equipment like planters, tractors, combines and sensing devices for yield trials testing execution.
* Optimization and implementation of new phenotyping technologies and digital tools.
* Installation and operation of sensors for digital phenotyping.
* Engage with EMEA region and Global Breeding teams to deliver initiatives and global strategies.
* Compliance of Health, Safety and Environment procedures for safe operation of the testing programs and research station.
* Facility and Equipment management for safe, effective, and efficient program operations.
* Management of seasonal workers to conduct all testing activities properly and safely.

MSc of agricultural sciences or BSc with at least 3 years of agricultural research experience.Strong background in agronomy, preferably with experience in Corn and WOSR evaluation and characterization.Demonstrates leadership, efficiency, flexibility, and integrity daily.Good working knowledge of statistics and experimental design.Results oriented, strong initiative, excellent communication & interpersonal skills.Computer proficiency (MS office) and affinity for learning new data base applications.Strong communication skills in English and native Hungarian.Flexibility and ability to independently travel up to 20%.B Driving license (willingness to obtain B+E & T).
