Task:
- To support RFQ’s on selected special projects, molds tools and confirm VFM on high value CAPEX above $100k.
- Support supplier onboarding and approval on ARIBA for new / existing suppliers on special projects, aka and mold makers.
- First SCM interface with PM on selected Gate 0 projects.
- Support in the sourcing of new materials / technologies supporting R&D, operations, PM and innovation.
- Support in selected new product development meetings to explore potential opportunities to utilize new technologies / new suppliers to further optimize cost and process improvements.
- Support Should costing models for new product introductions for pre Gate 2 review.
Expectation:
- +5 years of experience in purchasing working in a manufacturing environment
- Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and related applications with which to perform daily work (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, Visio etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of supplier manufacturing processes and familiar with should costing methodology
- Ability to source materials and technologies not current utilized by ELIP
- Strong working knowledge of injection mold tool construction and or extrusion
- Project Management skills
