Adv Analyst General Ledger
Responsibilities: YOU will be involved in the following tasks
- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Coordinating complex projects
- Analyzing and researching complex issues and presenting the most efficient solution
- Coordinating and supporting of the statutory reporting and audit activities for one or more legal entities
- Review of Financial Statements & Statutory adjustments
- Manage local GAAP to SAP
- Handling internal, external and tax audit requests
- Identifying opportunities for improvement relating to key accounting processes
- Carrying out in depth analysis, investigating identified improvement opportunities and providing solutions
- Maintaining compliance with internal controls
- Assisting finance and accounting personnel in case of issues/interpretation of Policies & Procedures
- Educating, training and supporting employees
- Participating in development of training documentation, with possibility of delivering some training where applicable
- Back up TLs in meetings in the field of expertise
Qualifications: What YOU will bring to the team
- Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting or other relevant field of Finance
- At least 6+ years relevant work experience in accounting; previous experience in a shared service center or accounting experience at a large company, or fast paced environment is desired
- Solid SAP knowledge
- Strong control mindset (knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act is desired)
- Proactive, self-starter attitude and able to work independently
- Demonstrates healthy skepticism and effective problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to resolve ambiguous or complex assignments
- Effectively prioritizes assignments, follows through on commitments and demonstrates ownership of results
- Customer focus (within policy guidelines)
- Demonstrates visibility and ability to effectively communicate and interact with personnel at all levels throughout the organization
- Exhibits a positive can-do attitude and approaches responsibilities with an open mind
- Willingness to learn and self-develop
