Accounts payable team leader

• Lead an accounts receivable team, ensuring great outcomes for customers and the business.
• Acting as an escalation point for team members on the floor when support is required
• Coach and develop team members through 1-1s, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
• Follow department processes and enforce best practices.
• Processing invoices and reconciling monthly statements.
• Reconciling Supplier Statements to the finance system.
• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure that any queries are resolved in a timely manner.
• Preparing analysis of accounts as requested.
• Assisting with month-end closing.
• Providing detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
• Preparing documentation for audits.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• An educational background in Accounting or Finance.
•Proven experience in an Accounts Payable Team Leader role.
• Confidence in communicating in English and good interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Familiarity with IFRS requirements.
• A good working knowledge of stock procedures and reporting.
