Accounts Payable Accountant

Our client is one of the world’s leader company in digital identification and security technologies. They can take advantage of the best security and identity technologies and offer customized solutions to international customers from major industries such as financial services, telecommunications, identity, security and IoT. Their finance team is continuously growing within the SSC, currently they are looking for AP accountants, who could process vendor documents and employee expense reports in a timely manner and participate in Procure to Pay process improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DAILY TASKS

  • Participation in the knowledge transfer to the Budapest SSC:
    • Prepares the process documentation of Accounts Payable transactions
    • Performs tests
    • Maintains process documentation up to date
  • Processes vendor documents and employee expense reports
    • Scans inbound document hard copies
    • Requests vendor creation where appropriate
    • Books the document in the system with the right dimensions
    • Matches invoices with receipts and POs where applicable
    • Requests validation through proper workflow where applicable
    • Processes employee expense reports
    • Escalates issues to the right level
  • Initiates payment process
  • Performs closing activities
  • Promotes and maintains effective collaboration with internal customers

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2-3 years' experience as AP accountant, preferably in SSC environment
  • Advanced English knowledge
  • Additional European language is a plus
  • Experience on ERPs
  • Ability to interact with all stakeholders
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team work, attention to details
